Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit
The age limit for applicants will be calculated as of 25 March 2026. The minimum age for most posts is 18 years. The maximum age limit varies from 27 to 32 years, depending on the specific post. Age relaxation will be applicable as per DSSSB's recruitment rules for various posts.
Educational Qualifications (Post-wise)

- Master’s Degree in Zoology, Botany, Anthropology, Biology, Human Biology, Life Science, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or Forensic Science with Zoology/Botany as a subject in all three years of Bachelor’s degree, OR B.E./B.Tech in Biotechnology.
- Master’s Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Forensic Science with Physics/Mathematics as a subject in Bachelor’s degree.
- Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, Biochemistry, or Forensic Science with Chemistry as a subject in Bachelor’s degree.
- Master’s Degree in Psychology or Criminology.
- Master’s Degree in Physics or Chemistry, or B.Sc. with Physics/Chemistry studied for at least two years/four semesters.
- Master’s Degree in Physics or Mathematics or Computer Science or Chemistry or Biology or Zoology or Forensic Science or Psychology or Toxicology or Biotechnology, or MCA, OR B.Tech in Computer Science/IT/ECE/Instrumentation.
- Master’s Degree in Physics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or Forensic Science, OR B.Tech in AI/IT.
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, IT, Physics with specialization in Electronics/Cyber Security, OR B.E./B.Tech in CS, IT, ECE, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Master’s Degree in Zoology, Botany, Anthropology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Physics, Toxicology, Biochemistry, or Forensic Science.
- Master’s Degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Forensic Science, or B.Sc. with Physics/Chemistry studied for at least two years/four semesters.
- Master’s Degree in Physics or Forensic Science with Physics as a subject in Bachelor’s degree.
- Master’s Degree in Hindi/English or equivalent combinations of Hindi and English, plus Diploma/Certificate in Translation or relevant translation experience.
- Master’s Degree in History with specialization in Modern Indian History and Diploma in Archives & Records Management.
- 12th Pass and typing speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour for data entry work.
- ITI Certificate in Plumber Trade and one year practical experience in water distribution network/C.I. & G.I. pipes and accessories.
- Matriculation and ITI Certificate in Electrician/Wireman Trade.
- 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, plus ITI in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
- Matriculation and National Trade Certificate/ITI in Electrician Trade.
- Degree from a recognized university, or Diploma/Degree in Computer Engineering, along with typing speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour.
- Degree from a recognized university, or 3-year Diploma in Computer Engineering/Digital Electronics/Electronics & Communication Engineering, with typing speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour.
- BCA, Graduation in Computer Science, B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science/IT), or Graduation with DOEACC ‘A’ Level.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Domestic Science/Home Science and B.Ed. with Domestic Science/Home Science.
- Graduation with B.Ed. (Special Education) or equivalent Special Education qualifications and CTET qualification.
- Class 12th with D.Ed. Special Education or equivalent RCI-recognized qualification and CTET (Primary Stage).
- Three-year Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering with relevant practical experience.
